WOW !!!
This was the first word came out of my mouth when i saw Taj Mahal for the 1st time. Its strange that i am 26 and i have not even seen the 2% of India, its stuff with beauties all around.
Shah Jahan ... Solute to the man, who built such a beauty to dedicate his love to his wife Mumtaaz.

Story behind creating the wonder:

Shah Jahan fell in love with the Arjumand Bano Begum(Mutaaz) and got amrried to her. Mumtaaz was his 3rd wife. When mumtaaz was dying she took a promise form Shah Jahan that he would construct the most beautiful monument in the her memory. And Taj Mahal is the result of the promise.

Just a thought: Taj Mahal was not actually dedicated but asked... but it was a pure dedication to fulfill the demand :).

Pink Chaadi Campaign - What kind of stupidity is this ???

The Pink Chaddi Campaign strated on 5 February 2009. This campaign opposes the Sri Ram Sena.
Sounds good but what kind of crap is that !!!

To counter a disturbing trend of right-wing Hindu thugs beating up women going to pubs or wearing clothes they don't approve of, Bangalore-based Alternative Law Forum (ALF) has launched a satirical campaign to support India's "Pubgoing Loose and Forward Women".

The Pink Chaddi Campaign asks women/girls to send pink chaddis (underwear) to the Shri Ram Sene.
The reason being they never let anyone celebrate Valentine's Day.

Sometime common things are not very common among commom people. If you do not like it, do no celebrate it ... Make it simple :)
